Construction of Rural Roads
Amb Akoh Foundation have embarked on mass rural construction of roads in parts of Benue State.
We saw the plight of the local farmers; whose economic growth were limited due to bad road network. Every year an average farmer in the rural centre loses fortune an average of 6o% of their farm produces due to bad road.
The foundation constructed brides and culverts linking several communities to the urban centres where their farm produces could be displayed for purchase. As at the last check, Amb Akoh Foundation had constructed several Kilometers of roads liking several Districts in Nigeria to the appropriate markets as a way of advancing the economic standard of the rural dwellers.
In order to give phase lift to some communities, the foundation constructed tarred streets totally huge kilometers in stretch in some rural communities,
In Ugboju particularly the road leading to the Palace of the Obande K’Ugboju, HRH Chief Solomon Apochi, who is also the District Head of Ugboju and the Third Class Chief Adoka/Ugboju Intermediate Area Chiefdom was tared by Amb Akoh Foundation.
