Who is Dr Dickson Akoh?
Dr Dickson Akoh—the National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria—is a multifaceted leader whose life’s work spans public service, youth empowerment, education, and cultural preservation. The Amb. Akoh Foundation: Touching Lives
Believing firmly that “what is good in the city is also good in the villages,” the Amb. Akoh Foundation was established to address the immediate needs of underserved communities. Through the foundation, we share in the pains of the vulnerable and actively work to uplift rural areas.
Our core community development and empowerment projects include:
Rural Development: Mass construction of rural roads to alleviate the plight of local farmers and boost economic activities.
Relief Initiatives: Consistent donation of relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps, supporting victims of crises and natural disasters.
Youth Empowerment: Direct financial investments in the next generation, such as endowment funds for young innovators and aspiring engineers.
Community Infrastructure: Establishing recreational centers in rural areas and funding the construction of places of worship to foster community spirit.
